Founding Attorney

Will Murphy

the vision

from the beginning

Will Murphy is the founding attorney of Murphy Law, P.L.L.C. Will graduated from Central Valley High School in Spokane, WA in 2001. Afterwards, Will attended the University of Washington, graduating in 2005. Will received a major in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. Following undergrad, Will returned to Spokane where he intended to continue his studies at Gonzaga University. Will obtained his law degree from the Gonzaga School of Law in 2009. After graduation, Will and his wife moved to beautiful North Idaho where they both began their professional careers. Will worked for Beck Law Offices in Hayden, Idaho from 2009 through 2021, a firm that specialized in Worker’s Compensation, Personal Injury and Employment Law. While there, Will was fortunate to have an opportunity to work on many high profile, novel cases.

Legal Strength and Personal Resilience

Will is tenacious! He played football for Central Valley High School in Spokane, where he was a stand-out offensive and defensive player. He was offered scholarships from several colleges and universities for both football and baseball. However, he chose to pursue his dream of playing football and obtaining an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington.

Professional Credentials

Will is licensed to practice law before the Idaho State District Courts, the Idaho Court of Appeals, and the Idaho Supreme Court. Will is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Idaho. Will practices in the areas of personal injury, worker’s compensation, business law, employment law and general litigation.

Will went on to be selected by the UW coaches as the recipient of the prestigious Mark Drennan Defensive Scout of the Year award for the 2004 season. Will is proud to have earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, where he earned a varsity letter as a defensive end for the Huskies!

Family and Community

Embracing Togetherness

Will, his wife Keri and their four children live in Post Falls, ID and are deeply entrenched in their local community. Will coaches many sports, from AAU basketball to Pre-K/K flag football, soccer, baseball and everything in-between. Will’s wife Keri is a teacher in the Lakeland School District and a coach as well. Will, Keri and their children are incredibly active. Although the kids’ sports and extra-curricular schedules dominate most weekends, the Murphy family loves to find any opportunity to be outside, going on camping trips, fishing trips, going to sporting events and having barbecues with friends, family and neighbors.

More than anything else, the Murphy family loves to spend time together enjoying the wonderful things that their home in North Idaho has to offer.
